Play Me, I’m Yours—an interactive, musical public art installation inspired by British artist Luke Jerram—kicked off July 18 as 21 pianos were on display for all to play. During the event, students from The Music Settlement performed, and then all attendees were invited to take a seat and play their favorite tunes. Eleven pianos will be spread throughout campus in the coming weeks, with 10 more spread throughout the city.
Play Me, I’m Yours is a collaboration of the university and Cleveland International Piano Competition. The installation of pianos coincides with the piano competition from July 30 to Aug. 10. For more information on the event, view last week’s story in The Daily.
