As part of the PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 upgrade, some users of the system have experienced difficulty overriding the default “Ship-to-Location” at the requisition level. The issue has affected SmartCART Purchase Orders (POs) in which incorrect “Ship-To” locations were sourced onto the PO inaccurately, diverting orders and delaying the delivery of products.
The bug has been identified and the Case Western Reserve University ERP Team is working actively with the Oracle and AT&T software teams to find a prompt resolution. Until a permanent solution is identified, users must specify the “Ship-to” location at the line level, which will guarantee the accurate delivery of goods.
In addition, PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 is erroneously logging some users off the system during transactions, or when in idle mode. The Case Western Reserve University ERP Team is working actively with the Oracle and AT&T software teams to find a prompt resolution. It is advised that users save their work periodically to minimize the potential loss of data.
