University Health and Counseling Services invites students to apply to become peer health educators. This opportunity is for students who envision themselves as leaders on campus and want to empower their peers to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Peer health educators will be trained to develop, promote and provide wellness-related outreach throughout campus, including educational workshops, tabling events and health promotion programs.
Students interested in becoming peer health educators are invited to attend upcoming information sessions:
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, from noon to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 3 to 4 p.m.
These sessions are opportunities to learn more about the program and what is expected of peer health educators. Attending an information session does not commit you to becoming a peer health educator.
