“Passion & Promise: Family Physicians Making a Difference”

Join Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine for a special event titled “Passion & Promise: Family Physicians Making a Difference.” 

The free event will take place Saturday, Aug. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Samson Pavilion at the Health Education Campus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Presented as the 2023 Dr. Edward C. and Diane White Lectureship in Family Medicine, this event will feature a dozen family medicine physicians who are making a difference, all while balancing their personal and professional lives. 

They will share their experiences in a range of fields as:

  • Public health leaders, policy advocates and health system executives; 
  • Experts in sports medicine, correctional medicine, women’s health and global health; and
  • Researchers, educators and media professionals. 

The program will include a brief overview by family medicine department chairs Chrissy Alexander, Donald Ford and Goutham Rao, and Center for Community Health Integration Director Kurt Strange.
