The MIND diet enhances brain health

The Mind Health Report: Studies now show that a mind-healthy diet can increase the size of your brain, improve your thinking and memory skills, and even reduce your risk for dementia in old age. “We use the MIND diet in our practice, and we also teach it to our medical students,” explained Lindsay Malone, registered dietitian and an instructor in the Department of Nutrition at the School of Medicine. “The diet is looked on favorably by the nutrition community because it helps reduce cognitive decline.”
