Next UCITE session to address balance between sensitivity, free speech

How can universities best balance the needs of free speech and academic freedom while creating a safe and welcoming environment for all their members?

At the next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education session, Lou Stark, vice president for student affairs, and Peter Poulos, university attorney, will lead a discussion on how CWRU deals with this issue.

This session will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Herrick Room (use Adelbert Road doors).

Pizza and sodas will be provided at this session. RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
