New Student Activity Report available online

The Office of Planning and Institutional Research has released the 2012-13 Student Activity Report, which provides information about students who were enrolled during summer and fall 2012.

Findings indicate that 97 percent of students were involved in at least one campus service, program, event, or student organization. More specifically:

  • 89 percent (n=3,888) used at least one campus service
  • 88 percent (n=3,868) participated in at least one campus program or event
  • 75 percent (n=3,272) were members of at least one student group

Compared to their peers, students who participated in at least one campus service, program, event, or organization were significantly more likely to be retained or graduate.
