Are you interested in mindfulness and meditation? Would you like to learn more about those techniques and how to use them in your classroom to enhance the student learning experience? Please consider participating in the Mindfulness Matters project which will begin in January with mindfulness training led by Suzanne Rusnak, MEd, MSSA, LSW, an experienced mindfulness instructor and practitioner. Suzanne will be available for weekly consultation and ongoing training with small groups of faculty project participants during the Spring semester. Faculty will integrate very brief mindfulness activities into their weekly classroom experience during that time. Participation in the research portion of this project will also be an option for interested faculty.
Please use this short Google form to register for this experience.
In the short term this project may improve student mindfulness and well-being, faculty confidence in integrating mindfulness into their classes, and the classroom experience for both faculty and students.
