The university bookstore will host a meeting with Patricia Harman, author of The Midwife of Hope River, Sept. 20 at noon.
In her new book, Harman, a former faculty member at Case Western Reserve, follows the life of midwife Patience Murphy in the Appalachia region during the Depression.
