Medical Informatics’ Rong Xu receives 2014 National Institute of Health Director’s New Innovator Award

CWRU researcher to scour data for new drug matches to treat disease, gets $2.4 million NIH award
The Plain Dealer: Rong Xu, assistant professor of medical informatics, received the 2014 National Institutes of Health Director’s New Innovator Award. The grant will help fund her continued research to seek a new path to drug discovery by automating identification of all effects for many drugs on the market.
