Crain’s Cleveland Business: With a new business plan in place and an executive director with a vision, the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s membership is on the rise and management is seeking donors for major projects. “If you really believe in the leadership of an institution’s management, you should be willing to invest in that person,” said Nancy Osgood, adjunct instructor in the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. “If donors see that there’s sound management in place and sound decisions being made, they’re much more likely to make a gift.”
