M. Scott Peck among well-known university graduates

Just who was the 1963 alumnus who became a famous author?

As all of those who answered the question guessed, it was M. Scott Peck.

After graduating from the School of Medicine in 1963, Peck went on to establish himself as a prominent psychiatrist and author.

Peck is known for his book The Road Less Traveled, which was published in 1978. In this work, Peck examines discipline, love, religion and grace, drawing upon his experience as a psychiatrist.

Peck is just one of the many Case Western Reserve University alumni to achieve success; this year’s graduating class—and all that follow—will be in good company.
