Learn the basics of weight lifting techniques during a three-week workshop

Novice and beginner weight lifters who would like to learn the basic and technical elements of the snatch and the clean and jerk can participate in a three-week workshop offered by University Fitness Centers.

The workshop will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. for three weeks beginning April 1.

Participants will learn the technical elements of the movements from the ground up, focusing on proper positioning with an emphasis on the fundamentals of each lift. The small group nature of this class will foster an environment of personal attention and encouragement.
