Visit the university farm April 2 to learn how you can add hydrangeas to your garden

HydrangeasMaybe they remind you of your grandmother’s yard. Perhaps it’s just the splendor of the immense flower heads or the vibrant colors that splash across a garden canvas. Whatever the reason, you now can learn how to grow hydrangeas with a new University Farm course.

In the course, led by horticulturist Chris Bond, you will learn about the different types of hydrangeas, how to grow them in Northeast Ohio and the best methods for fertilizing and pruning.

The course will be offered Saturday, April 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Squire Valleevue and Valley Ridge Farms in the Kutina Classroom.
