Learn how to be more mindful with summer wellness course

Due to popular demand, the Wellness Program has added a second mindfulness class to the summer lineup.

“Our first class filled in under two hours,” Wellness Coordinator Mary Ann Dobbins said. “So we are thrilled to offer a second class.”

The mindfulness class will be held on Tuesdays May 31-July 19 at 1:15 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 206.

Mindfulness has been shown to improve focus and elicits many other positive health effects.

Wellness participants who complete seven of the eight classes in this series are eligible for the year-end stress management program incentive.
