Learn about weightlifting in a program offered by One to One Fitness Center

One to One Fitness Center will offer a three-week weightlifting workshop program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. beginning Oct. 28.

This technical workshop is designed for novice/beginner lifters who have a desire to learn the basic technical elements of the snatch and clean and jerk.

The class will meet twice a week for three weeks, and will walk participants through the technical elements of these movements from the ground up, focusing on proper positioning and an emphasis on the fundamentals of each lift. The small group nature of this class will foster an environment of personal attention and encouragement, with the hope for developing an appreciation for weightlifting as a sport.
