Bestselling mystery writer Richard North Patterson graduated from the School of Law in 1971.
Among his books are: Degree of Guilt, The Final Judgment, Silent Witness, No Safe Place and Dark Lady.
Patterson was a trial attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission, and served as its liaison to the Watergate Special Prosecutor. He also was the assistant attorney general for the State of Ohio.
