Students who participate in programs offered through the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning can choose between a variety of programs and commitment levels to benefit the local community.
Through the Civic Engagement Scholars program, students commit to at least 50 hours of community service during the academic year.
In 2016–17, 235 students representing 50 majors completed the Civic Engagement Scholars Program. They volunteered more than 17,000 hours at 61 sites across Northeast Ohio.
But Civic Engagement Scholars are just one part of the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning. See how else our students get involved.
