The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host Shari Lowin, associate professor of religious studies at Stonehill College, for a discussion titled “The Jews’ Reaction to Muhammad’s Claims of Prophecy.”
This discussion will be held Monday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at the Landmark Centre (25700 Science Park Dr., Beachwood).
Lowin will examine the Jewish reaction to claims that Muhammad was as on par with—and even exceeded—Moses as a prophet.
This event is free to members of the Siegal Lifelong Learning program, and $5 for nonmembers.
