“IPM’s Story—Global Solidarity and Resiliency in the COVID-19 Pandemic”

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences Office of International Affairs, LINK (Local InterNational Konnection) student group and International Partners in Mission (IPM) will host a special session on IPM’s story.

Titled “Global Solidarity and Resiliency in the COVID-19 Pandemic,” this virtual panel discussion will be held Monday, May 3, at 5:30 p.m. All members of the community are invited to this event to hear from guest speakers from IPM. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges across the globe and brought about greater needs for community-based supportive services. IPM will share how the organization and project partners have stood in solidarity to mobilize services and promote resiliency in several regions. 

Guest panelists will include the following IPM staff members:

  • Joseph F. Cistone, chief executive officer;
  • Adela Zayas, director of international programs and partnerships and regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean;
  • Victoria Jiménez, immersion experience coordinator; and
  • Eneyda Ramos, research and resource mobilization coordinator.
