“Introduction to Water Bath Canning” workshop

Want to enjoy your garden’s bounty long after the harvest season? Water bath canning is an easy way to save your tomatoes. Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the University Farm for a cooking demo Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pink Pig.

The “Introduction to Water Bath Canning” workshop will cover the safe method of canning at home and the science behind it. Participants will leave with the confidence to “can” as well as a can of University Farm-grown tomatoes.

The cost to participate is discounted for CWRU faculty, staff and students.
