Information session: Spring Break Study Abroad in Greece

Athens, Greece, provides students the opportunity to study over 3,000 years of human history, and to examine why it became so important to the formation of our own civilization.

Students interested in participating in a study abroad experience in Athens over spring break 2019 are invited to an information session Friday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m. in Mather House, Room 100. Undergraduates who have a strong interest in ancient Greece and who are looking to satisfy their General Humanities and/or Global and Diversity credits are encouraged to attend.

The session will cover the CLSC 199—Athens: Idea and Identity from Socrates to Byron course.

Students who attend the information session will have the opportunity to preview the course syllabus, the sites to be visited, accommodations and general expectations.

Light Greek-themed snacks will be served.

Previous coursework dealing with ancient Greece is not required.
