The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host a free remote lecture titled “How To Protect Yourself: Topics In Consumer Protection” Tuesday, April 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.
Jon Miller Steiger, director of the Federal Trade Commission’s East Central Region, will share how the FTC protects consumers by preventing deceptive and unfair business practices through law enforcement, advocacy and education without unduly burdening legitimate business activity.
In this talk, Steiger will discuss the latest attacks by scammers and false advertisers and how best to protect yourself and your family.
