Hawaiian-themed summer barbecue

The summer barbecue season will continue Wednesday, June 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Case Quad.

The Hawaiian-themed menu will feature mango BBQ chicken, grilled fish sandwiches and grilled pineapple and jicama slaw burgers. Side dishes will be sweet potato and plantain hash, coconut and basil rice, mixed island greens salad with pineapple vinaigrette and pina colada fruit salald.

Music will be by Doug Wood.

Each meal costs $8 per person and will include the chef’s entrée choice, sides and an ice cream novelty. Cold beverages will be available for an extra $1.50.

Tomlinson Marketplace will be the rain site.

Bon Appetit, the Office of Summer Programs, Campus Services and Plant Services will sponsor the barbecues.
