About Relay for Life

Relay For Life has three main purposes:

  • To celebrate the lives of survivors who have won the battle against cancer;
  • To remember those lost to cancer; and
  • To fight back in the hope that, one day, there will be a cure.

All of the money raised during the Relay For Life event goes directly to cancer research and cancer support programs. Many people have had some experience with cancer, either directly or indirectly, and Relay For Life provides the opportunity for people to actively participate in finding a cure.
