Graduate and postdoctoral fellow professional coaching program to be offered in spring; apply by Jan. 7

The Office of Student Activities & Leadership and the Professional Development Center of Graduate Studies will offer free professional coaching for graduate and postdoctoral fellows this spring.

Beginning in February and running through April, several university staff members who have become certified coaches through the Weatherhead School of Management’s Executive Coaching program will work with students. The program includes three one-on-one sessions with a certified coach and a free workbook titled Becoming a Resonant Leader.

By using the Intentional Change Theory model, students will explore their ideal and real selves while also developing a learning agenda and experimenting with new behaviors.

Students will work with their professional coach to:

  • Draft a personal vision;
  • Obtain feedback;
  • Identify values, strengths and gaps;
  • Identify a personal board of directors; and
  • Create an action plan.

The application is available through CampusGroups. The deadline to apply is Monday, Jan. 7, at 11:59 p.m.
