Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) is a weeklong celebration to recognize the intellectual, teaching and cultural contributions of Case Western Reserve University graduate and professional students.
From March 29 to April 4, students are invited to take part in a variety of events, outlined below.
The week was started by the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students in 1993 to recognize the contributions of graduate teaching assistants. The focus expanded in 1995 to include the recognition of the contributions of all graduate and professional students.
The week of events is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Leadership, the Office of the Provost, the School of Graduate Studies, the Graduate and Professional Student Experience Committee (GPSEC), the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) and the Graduate and Professional Council (GPC).
