Join Global Health Design Collaboration (GHDC) at its first meeting Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. on the second floor of the Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears think[box].
GHDC brings together students interested in medicine, engineering and anthropology. The organization’s mission is to use the principles of anthropology and engineering design to contextualize and solve unmet clinical needs of the developing world.
At the meeting, learn about the group’s projects in pediatric pulse oximetry, medical waste disposal and vaccine cold chain, and its collaboration/trips to Uganda. Check out a flow chart explaining the group’s work.
Food will be provided at the meeting.
