Join the Rainbow Hats Project for its next Giving the Gift of Warmth event to make hats, scarves, booties, blankets and an array of crocheted objects for those in need.
This Greek life service initiative donates these handmade goods to several organizations, including University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and women’s shelters.
The next Rainbow Hats Project service opportunity will be Friday, Feb. 23, 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Wade Commons Pioneer Room.
There also will be opportunities to get involved March 23 and April 20.
Individuals don’t need to know how to crochet to join; all newcomers are welcome.
Participants can gain service hours.
