While Americans know the stories of Paul Revere’s midnight ride and the Boston Tea Party, few have heard of the incident that was the bloodiest affair of the Revolutionary War.
Individuals can learn more about this historical incident during a discussion based on The Ghost Ship of Brooklyn, an award-winning new book of the same title.
Robert Watson, author of the book, will give the lecture.
Hosted by the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, the event will be held Friday, Oct. 12, from noon to 2 p.m. at The Temple-Tifereth Israel (26000 Shaker Blvd., Beachwood).
The lecture costs $25 for members of the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage and The Temple-Tifereth Israel, and $35 for non-members. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
