The third and final Conversations in Philanthropy talk this spring will offer three perspectives on the thinking of individual donors who engage in philanthropy in a range of ways such as annual gifts, volunteerism, and major gifts and bequests.
Titled “Inside the Mind of a Donor,” the event will be held Thursday, April 21, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 115.
The event will feature three speakers:
- Hank Doll, vice president of the Doll Family Foundation;
- Hedy Milgrom, senior vice president and chief development officer of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland; and
- Chuck Miller, senior director of planned giving at Case Western Reserve University.
Robert L. Fischer, research professor and director of the Master of Nonprofit Organizations program, will moderate.
The event is free and open to the public. For those unable to attend in person, a live-stream will be available online.
Conversations in Philanthropy are part of the Mandel School’s Centennial Speaker Series and are presented by the school’s Master of Nonprofit Organizations program. They are supported by the Gail and Elliott Schlang Philanthropic Fund, a donor-advised fund of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
More information about each of the speakers and registration for the event is available online.
