Young Writers of Cleveland, a new University Media Board organization on campus, will host a free pizza event Thursday, Aug. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Thwing Center.
Young Writers of Cleveland aims to enhance the lives of the children in the Cleveland area by motivating them to read and write outside the classroom. To encourage curiosity, research and learning within the community, the organization prints a free newspaper written and read by K-12 students.
Attendees at the pizza event will learn how to get involved with the new organization.
