Get first-year students started on right track by presenting Think Seminar at orientation

Think Seminars (previously called Meet the Faculty) have been a staple of the Case Western Reserve University New Student Orientation experience for first-year students for many years.

During New Student Orientation 2015, Think Seminars will be presented Aug. 19-21. Faculty members who are interested in presenting a seminar for new students during orientation are encouraged to submit their topic by June 8.

When new students participate in Think Seminars, they have the opportunity to experience the college classroom environment before they start their fall semester. Think Seminars allow new students to explore an existing passion or to discover something new.

Seminars are 50 minutes long, should include some discussion and can be about virtually anything: research, a topic of personal or professional interest or even a current issue. Whatever the topic, they are an experience students love to engage in; new students consistently rate these seminars as one of their favorite orientation events.

Those who would like to participate can submit a topic online.
