Phi Delta Epsilon, the pre-medical fraternity on campus will host its annual Gelfand Lecture Thursday, March 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. This year, Steven Porter, CEO of riskLD and an OB hospitalist at University Hospitals, will present “The Long and Winding Road, Charting Your Own Path to and through Medicine.”
Porter’s motivational talk will cover his non-traditional path through medicine in hopes of inspiring others to pursue their own passions along with medicine.
Porter spent time in consulting, public health work in South Africa and started his own business.
