Fresh produce and more available weekly at farmers markets

Faculty, staff and students will have easy access to fresh produce, baked goods and more during two weekly famer’s markets. The North Union Farmers Market is at the Crile Building near the Health Education Campus on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Then on Thursdays, the market moves to the lawn in front of the Lakeside Building on Adelbert Road from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

At the markets, buyers can browse and select fruits, vegetables and more from local farmers. The North Union Farmers Market website outlines COVID-19 protocols shoppers are asked to follow.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring reusable grocery bags and a freezer pack for any cold items—like locally sourced meats—they may purchase.
