Freedman Student Fellows Program applications now open

The Walter Freedman and Karen Harrison Freedman Student Fellowships provide funding for undergraduate and graduate students to complete targeted digital projects under the guidance of Kelvin Smith Library’s Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship team.

The deadline to submit applications for the 2022-23 Freedman Student Fellowship program is Sept. 9. The program will provide undergraduate and graduate students the ability to partake in an internship or grant track.

This annual award funds well-defined research projects that involve the application of digital tools and methods to scholarly or pedagogical problems. Applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule a consultation with members of the digital scholarship team before submitting an application.
