The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning will host CWRU Connects: First-Year Service Day on Thursday, Aug. 22, from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is an opportunity for new students to volunteer at one of the several important causes in the Cleveland area.
The theme of this CWRU Connects is “Service for a More Sustainable Cleveland.” The event will feature Erin Huber, executive director and founder of the nonprofit organization Drink Local Drink Tap.
Students can browse the CWRU Connect webpage to select a project that most interests them, and then register through the new student checklist.
Transportation will be provided to all off-campus sites.
