Find out where Monday’s photo was taken—and what it showed

Lightning storms were prevalent around Northeast Ohio this week, and many of you know where lightning is on campus, too. Well, not lightning, exactly. The image actually is the symbol for a resistor, or the electrical component that regulates the flow of electrical currents in electronic circuits.

The resistor symbol is located on the ceiling of the third floor hallway in the Glennan Building, just outside the Sears Electronics—or circuits—Lab. Fitting, don’t you think?

Many people guessed this one right, although other guesses included at Blue Bash, in Little Italy, and in campus buildings such as Thwing Center, Alumni House, Peter B. Lewis building and Kelvin Smith Library.
