It’s a weekend of nostalgic childhood films with the CWRU Film Society. The 1987 classic The Princess Bride will be shown Sunday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. Members of the university community can attend this socially distanced theater experience and relive the magic of The Princess Bride and its lively cast of characters, including Buttercup, Westley, Vizzini and Inigo Montoya.
Those who plan to attend should RSVP through CampusGroups and must have an active CWRU ID.
Synopsis
While a young boy is home sick in bed, his grandfather reads him the story of a farmboy-turned-pirate who encounters numerous obstacles, enemies and allies in his quest to be reunited with his true love.
