Celebrate 30 years of holy motown! Reno lounge singer Deloris witnesses a mob murder and the cops stash her in a nunnery for protection. The Mother Superior does not trust her or like her influence on the other nuns. But “Sister Mary Clarence” rescues the failing choir with her own brand of music and revitalizes the convent’s interest in the community. The increased attention is a blessing and a curse, though, as Deloris’s whereabouts are discovered.
