Fight waste, hunger by volunteering for Food Recovery Network

Food Recovery Network flyerThe Food Recovery Network is looking for volunteers to help the organization fight waste and feed people by donating excess food from campus to various soup kitchens in the Cleveland area.

The group picks up food twice a day from Einstein Bros. Bagels and Panera Bread to donate food on Saturdays.

There will be a volunteer training meeting for anyone who wants to get involved Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom. Refreshments will be provided.
