“Fatty Liver Disease: A Silent Epidemic”

The Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH) will host a webinar titled “Fatty Liver Disease: A Silent Epidemic” Wednesday, Feb. 28, from noon to 1 p.m.

Keynote speaker Lanla F. Conteh from The Ohio State University will discuss how to:

  • Screen and identify patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH);
  • Describe current disparities in care in MASLD risk, assessment and management;
  • Manage contributing risk factors to MASLD in patient care; and
  • Counsel patients on current risks, treatment options and prognosis.

One continuing medical education credit will be offered at no cost.
