Celebrate the beginning of fall at Farm Harvest Festival 2016.
The festival, hosted by the Student Sustainability Council, will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Squire Valleevue and Valley Ridge Farms (37125 Fairmount Blvd., Hunting Valley).
It will feature hayrides, hiking tours, information about sustainable initiatives and research, a cornhole tournament, fresh food, a grass maze, Mitchell’s ice cream, student performances and more.
The event is free and open to the public.
Buses will leave for the farm from Thwing Center approximately every 30 minutes from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Parking also is available at the farm, and the CWRU cycling club will bike from main campus at noon.
