Faculty/staff: Health care flexible spending account contribution limit increases

Employees will be able to contribute more into their health care flexible spending accounts (FSA) in 2019, when the FSA contribution limit rises to $2,700. The IRS announced the change after the 2019 Benelect Open Enrollment materials were created. The open enrollment kit states the maximum allowable contribution as $2,650.

If you wish to increase your annual contribution the new maximum amount of $2,700 for 2019, you will need to make a new election through HCM during Open Enrollment.
