The Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center—with funds from STERIS Corp.—will provide seed money to faculty members to foster research in emerging and health care-associated infections. The grant is open to investigators in the School of Medicine as well as other departments throughout the university.
Grants will not exceed $37,500 in direct costs each and will be awarded to investigators who plan to gather preliminary data to be used in seeking future independently funded awards.
