Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will offer a wide variety of literature courses this spring. Participants can revisit the classics, explore graphic memoirs and dive into children’s literature.
The following literature courses will begin in April:
- “Jane Austen: The Velvet Steamroller” (with instructor Paula Kalamaras)—Mondays, April 5–May 24, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. ET
- “A Journey into the Odyssey” (with instructor Paola Basile)—Tuesdays, April 6–May 11, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. ET
- “The Wisdom of Children’s Literature” (with instructor Paula Kalamaras)—Wednesdays, April 7–May 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. ET
- “Graphic Memoirs: Telling Our Stories Through Picture and Word” (with instructor Mary Assad)—Fridays, April 9–May 14, from 10:30 a.m. to noon ET
- “The Modern American Play” (with instructor Donald Carrier)—Fridays, April 9–May 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET
- “The Oresteia by Aeschylus” (with instructor Janice Vitullo)—Mondays, April 12–26, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET
- “William Faulkner’s Southern Gothic” (with instructor Monica Carol Miller)—Wednesdays, April 28–June 2, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET
