The Ethics Table brown bag lunch series will continue this week on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Last week’s discussion focused on the need for systems thinking as people become ethically formed.
Building on last week’s lunch, neurology professor Peter Whitehouse will lead the discussion based on his understanding bioethics as an ecological ethics of life systems whose context is, ultimately, the Earth as an environment that can support human life flourishing far into the future.
The discussion lunches take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Spartan Room of Thwing Center (or Meeting Room A if there is a location conflict). Attendees can come for all or part of the time. Attendees should bring their own lunches; coffee and cookies will be served.
