Each year, the Case Engineering Council (CEC) coordinates Case Western Reserve University’s Engineers Week (E-Week) to celebrate and raise public understanding and appreciation of engineers’ contributions to society. Students are able to participate in friendly competition, social events, seminars with excellent speakers, and an E-Week Reception.
DiscoverE, the national organizer of E-Week, is a formal coalition of more than 100 professional societies, major corporations and government agencies dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce. The organization does this by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers among young students and by promoting pre-college literacy in math and science.
