Electronic health record (EHR) systems are now omnipresent in medical facilities. But have they meaningfully advanced patient safety? In a collaboration with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, the School of Law will host a conference titled “Electronic Records and Patient Safety: Legal Challenges and Solutions” Friday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the School of Law, Moot Court Room A59.
The conference will analyze EHR technology and the regulations that govern it; emphasize solutions to contemporary EHR challenges; and develop detailed recommendations for regulatory, policy and technology improvements.
The conference offers six hours of CLE credit and six hours of CME credit for students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Register through the School of Law website.
