The Department of Nutrition invites undergraduate students trying to decide on a major to attend its “Stress Buster Open House” Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Biomedical Research Building.
During this event, attendees will hear some of the professional and personal benefits of being a nutrition major. Additionally, there will be opportunities to meet faculty, five-minute massages and healthy foods.
“The truth of the matter is that my major in nutrition served me best in my role as a physician, anesthesiologist and surgical critical care intensivist at Cleveland Clinic,” said Nadine Rahman, the director of the surgical intensive care unit at Cleveland Clinic. “Hands down, those were the best classes that I have had the honor of taking part in at CWRU.”
